Why We Stayed Small
Every year someone asks when we’re going to grow. The honest answer is that we already did, just not in headcount. Margin(s)® is four senior people, and that’s the point.

The people you meet do the work
At bigger studios, the people in the pitch hand you over to the people who do the job. We don’t have that handover. The director on your intro call is the one cutting your film. The designer who sketches your mark on day one is the one exporting the final files.
Fewer projects, more attention
We take on a few projects each season. It means saying no more often than we’d like. It also means every client gets a team that knows their brief by heart, not a team juggling twelve others.
Small teams cut faster
Decisions that take a week of meetings elsewhere take a conversation here. Feedback goes straight to the person who can act on it. The work moves quicker, and it stays closer to the idea that started it.
When we need more hands
Some projects need a colourist, a composer or a crew of twelve on location. We bring in people we’ve worked with for years, and we stay in the room. You still have one point of contact, and it’s still us.
